State of Alaska Electronic Health Record (EHR) Survey For Health Care Professionals and Hospitals
Click here to participate in the State of Alaska Electronic Health Record Survey. Your participation in this short survey will enable the State of Alaska to determine the number of providers that qualify for EHR incentive payments from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. The survey should take 10 to15 minutes to complete.
AEHRA Recommended EHR Vendors
After a rigorous 8-month due-diligence process, two fully-endorsed EHR solution providers for the State of Alaska, e-MDs and Greenway Medical Technologies were selected by the Alaska EHR Alliance (AEHRA) as two preferred EHR vendors for Alaska providers. The EHR selection project--funded by the Alaska eHealth Network through a grant from the State of Alaska--was initiated, in part, due to statistics from a 2009 EHR usage survey that showed that one of the top barriers to adopting an EHR was the difficulty deciding which EHR to choose.
This exciting new endorsement will offer Alaska providers access to preferred pricing and pre-negotiated contracts to simplify the EHR selection process.

EHR Usage Survey completed: Results of a statewide EHR survey of Alaska physicians and clinic managers conducted by Craciun Research Group was recently released. This survey, funded in part by the Rasmuson Foundation, is part of the ongoing work by the Alaska eHealth Network in partnership with the Alaska EHR Alliance to determine usage and interest in EHRs by Alaska Providers.
